Natural Hair Product Review:

Honey's Handmade  Pumpkin & Cupuacu Puree Twist

This is a review on the Honey's Handmade: Pumpkin & Cupuacu Puree Twist.  This product is an all natural styling butter for your hair.  Its good for Twist-outs, Braid-outs, LOC methods and more.  It can also be used as daily hair moisturizer.

The ingredients include: Distilled Water, Cupuacu Butter, Pumpkin Butter, Organic Beeswax, Shea Butter, Pumpkin Seed Oil, Raw Honey, Black Castor oil, Sweet Almond and Fragrance.   This product has a great Pumpkin Pie scent, if you like the smell of Pumpkin Pie.  The Cupuacu ingredient is really good for your hair, it also contains lot of high fatty acids.

The Pumpkin & Cupuacu Puree cream really provides great hold on my twist, braid-outs and twist-outs. My twist-outs last for about 4 days with this product.  The product makes my hair so soft. The Cupuacu butter has an all Natural stretching agent in it.  The butter can make the hair appear longer in length after applied to the hair. The product cost is $17 and it will last a long time. I've been using it for 4 months; I use it every week and still got more than half left.  If your interested in this product, you can purchase this product at: http://www.honeyshandmade.com. This company also carries other great handmade natural products that are great. I also did a video review on the Pumpkin & Cupuacu Puree Twist.  Please check out my video review on my You-Tube channel:

Review: Orofluido Mask

Orofluido Mask: Review

This is a review on the Orofluido Conditioning mask for Natural or Colored hair. This is one of my favorite conditioners.  I was recommended to use this product by my current Natural Hair Stylish. This mask was voted one of  Elle 2015 Beauty Grand Prix.

The directions are to wash your hair with shampoo, leave the mask on for 3 to 5 minutes and rinse. The product is mixed with 3 oils: Argan, Cyperus and Linseed oil.  This product also has no Parabens. The product smell very good. It has a slight vanilla with a little Amber scent. The cream texture is like a smooth lotion. The product also contains Thermal Protection, which will help protect/guard your hair against heat damage.

I love the way my hair feels after it's washed from this product.  It makes my hair so soft and the de-tangling process is so easy.  Orofluido Mask also provides remarkable shine to my hair.  Please check out my video review on the product below:

Sweet Treats Curly Girl Cream Parfait (Wild Berry) by Oraje

I did a Wash & Go today with a new product from Oraje. It's from his"Sweet Treat" Line called The Curly Girl Cream Parfait. This scent is the Wild Berry. This product is a mixture of a white cream and pink gel mixed together. Interesting concept! Love it! You can either mix it together or you can use them separately if you like. The cream has the same styling agent as the gel.  You can use it for wash & goes, twist out, braid out, comb twist and more.  All you need is a little product to style your hair. The product is all natural, without harsh chemicals to damage the hair. The product is made with good stuff like: Coconut water, Aloe juice, Avocado Oil, Sesame oil, Caster Oil, Argan Oil, Sea Moss, Beet Sugar,Vitamin B3, B5, B6,C& E and more.

I really enjoyed using this product. It made my hair so soft, shiny and it felt moisturized. My curls came out really define. The smell was so amazing, it's just like berry scented candy!  All the products have no mineral oils, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, propylene glycol and never tested on animals. Oraje has a whole line of unique Bath, Body and Hair Products.  You can check out more of the products at: http://www.sweettreatsbyoraje.com/ and use product code: BlackFriday15.  Here are my results below and you can check out my YouTube video tutorial and review below:

Natural Hair Conditioners: 4 Easy to Make

Natural Hair Conditioners: 4 Easy to Make

Making your own conditioner is the way to go!  It is often more natural and healthier for the hair and body.  It also can save you money if you already have this stuff at home in your pantry.

Here is a list of some Home-Made conditioners you can make, with things you might have right in your kitchen:

(1) Rich Protein Conditioner-
This conditioner would shine, detangle damage hair, and strengthens the hair:
  • 5 tbsp of plain yogurt
  • 1 egg white
First, beat the egg white until foamy and then gently add in the plain yogurt. Apply to hair and leave for 15 minutes.  Then rinse and follow with a deep conditioner.

(2) Avocado Coconut Conditioner-
This conditioner will hydrate and give your hair protein.

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 cup of Coconut Milk
First peel the Avocado, then mash the avocado in the coconut milk.  Mash it until you get a smooth paste. Comb the product through your hair for about 15 minutes. Make sure you massage it all way through the hair, to the hair ends.  For a deeper conditioner, you can sit under an overhead dryer or steamer and then rinse. Warning: Don't use this mix, if you are epileptic, pregnant or have high blood pressure.

(3) Olive Oil/Honey Conditioner-
This conditioner provides shine and will make your hair moisturized.  This mix might be sticky when applying it, but its worth the try.

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of honey
Mix the olive oil and honey together.  Put in sections of the hair. Cover with a shower cap and leave on for 30 minutes. Shampoo and rinse well.

(4)Mayonnaise Conditioner-
This conditioner treatment is good for dry hair.

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
Mix everything together.  Apply to hair before shampoo.  Work it through the hair.  Cover with a plastic cap and leave on hair for 15 minutes. Then rinse and shampoo.
