FlaxSeed Gel

FlaxSeed Gel

FlaxSeed Gel is an all natural gel made from FlaxSeeds. FlaxSeeds are very good because its high in Omega 3 Fatty Acid, which make it great for your hair.  It also gives your hair great definition and hold.  FlaxSeed Gel defines the curls and is great for doing puffs, twist, twist-outs and braid out.   Here is my results from using FlaxSeed Gel on my hair:

           Two-Strand Twist                                                        Two-Strand Twist-Out

FlaxSeed Gel Recipe:

2 cups of Water
4 tablespoons of Flaxseeds
Add a few drops of Caster oil (optional)
Add a few drops of Olive oil (optional)
Add a few drops of Vitamin E oil (optional)
Add a few drops of Rosemary oil for preservatives (optional)

Instructions:

1. Boil 2 cups of water
2. Add 4 tablespoons of Flaxseed, stir continuously for about 5 minutes, until it became a clear liquid paste, don't let it get too thick, it makes it harder to strain.
3.Strain it in a bowl with a metal strainer or a old nylon stocking
4. Add your optional oils
5. Put in the refrigerator in a shut container. The Gel can last up to 3 weeks.

You can do 2 batches with those seeds to get a full container of gel. Then save the seeds later on in an air closed container in the refrigerator for another use.
