Natural Hair Conditioners: 4 Easy to Make

Natural Hair Conditioners: 4 Easy to Make

Making your own conditioner is the way to go!  It is often more natural and healthier for the hair and body.  It also can save you money if you already have this stuff at home in your pantry.

Here is a list of some Home-Made conditioners you can make, with things you might have right in your kitchen:

(1) Rich Protein Conditioner-
This conditioner would shine, detangle damage hair, and strengthens the hair:
  • 5 tbsp of plain yogurt
  • 1 egg white
First, beat the egg white until foamy and then gently add in the plain yogurt. Apply to hair and leave for 15 minutes.  Then rinse and follow with a deep conditioner.

(2) Avocado Coconut Conditioner-
This conditioner will hydrate and give your hair protein.

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 cup of Coconut Milk
First peel the Avocado, then mash the avocado in the coconut milk.  Mash it until you get a smooth paste. Comb the product through your hair for about 15 minutes. Make sure you massage it all way through the hair, to the hair ends.  For a deeper conditioner, you can sit under an overhead dryer or steamer and then rinse. Warning: Don't use this mix, if you are epileptic, pregnant or have high blood pressure.

(3) Olive Oil/Honey Conditioner-
This conditioner provides shine and will make your hair moisturized.  This mix might be sticky when applying it, but its worth the try.

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of honey
Mix the olive oil and honey together.  Put in sections of the hair. Cover with a shower cap and leave on for 30 minutes. Shampoo and rinse well.

(4)Mayonnaise Conditioner-
This conditioner treatment is good for dry hair.

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
Mix everything together.  Apply to hair before shampoo.  Work it through the hair.  Cover with a plastic cap and leave on hair for 15 minutes. Then rinse and shampoo.
